Slide To Shutdown for Windows 10

The slide to shut down features will let you shut down your PC by just sliding or touch your screen down. Cool features were let your PC shutdown easily.

If you want to have this cool features on your laptop/desktop, i will teach you how to create the shortcut to enable "Slide to shut down your PC" on your Windows 10/8 Etc..

In this tutorial we will walk though step by step procedure to add slide to shut down

How to add "Slide to shut down your PC" on your Laptop or Desktop

1.) Right Click on your desktop and Hoaver(NEW) then Click Shortcut

 

2.) Copy and Paste This Command on "Type the Location of the Item:"

 %windir%\System32\SlideToShutDown.exe

3.) Click Next.

 

4.) Type a name for the shortcut you can rename it by your preference SlideToShutDown then Click Finish

5.) Right-click the newly created shortcut and click on Properties.

 

 

Then click Change Icon

*Note if you encounter this kind of warning just click OK

 

 

 

 

 

6.) You can Select an icon below and hit OK. Or you can use other icon what you like.

 

 

 

Here is my Icon you can Save as Image and use it

Once you completed the procedures, you will see the newly created shortcut on your desk top, you can use it by hitting the double right click on your mouse or touch pad, and walaa your wallpaper will drop-down and you are freely to Slide to Shutdown
